Class of 2013 is Good to Go

The Class of 2013 is finishing work at Loyalist College this week in preparation for going on internships and jobs. Evan Cooke will be starting a full time job at Rogers Radio in Fort McMurray and Andrew Mendler will be heading to a full time newspaper job in Bonneyville, Alberta.

Class of 2011graduate Craig Momney is working in television in northern Alberta and loving it. Craig checks in to assure use everything is all right in Fort McMurray, "nothing I heard prior to coming here is true."  Craig says, "It is the best decision I have made to start my career.

This is the Official Trailer from the latest video project of Matt Westcott and his company.  Matt moved to Japan and fell in love with what he discovered a few steps from his front door.

Road Trip - Sportsnet and CBC Sports

Loyalist College Sports Journalism students spent a day at Sportsnet and CBC Sports getting a taste of what it is like in the real world.  One thing they learned - it helps to have connections.  Those connections made our trip on November 14th, 2012 possible.

Graduate Profiles - Kristen Shilton

Loyalist College Sports Journalism Class of 2011 graduate Kristen Shilton is profiled in the latest college Alumni e-newsletter.  Marketing Officer Marilyn Warren wrote the profile of Shilton who is now an assistant in the communications department of the Chicago Wolves, the farm team for the Vancouver Canucks.
